Biography:

 

Dr. Tasha Williams is a neuropsychologist currently employed at Fort Wayne Neurological Center.  Pediatric Neuropsychology comprises approximately 60 percent of her practice and she has a particular interest in working with children under the age of five.  Dr. Williams sees a variety of pediatric patients with concerns for ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, residual effects of head injuries, seizure disorders, Tourette’s syndrome, genetic conditions, other specific neurological conditions, and mood disorders.  

Dr. Williams completed her doctorate in School Psychology at Ball State University with specializations in Neuropsychology and Counseling Psychology in 2005. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and Residency at Fort Wayne Neurological Center and continues to work there full-time with a wide variety of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. 

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Williams has done presentations focused on Alzheimer's disease and Autism Spectrum Disorders for various community groups. She also has served on the Advisory Board for A Day Away Adult Daycare. Dr. Williams has been involved in research focused on academic achievement of students in charter schools, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, assessment and instruction of high achieving and gifted children, and assessment of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Dr. Williams is a licensed psychologist in the state of Indiana and is a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.  She is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the American Psychological Association, and the Indiana Psychological Association.  She currently serves as the Diversity Representative for the Indiana Psychological Association.
