Bio
I am an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior and the Chief Psychologist of the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. I specialize in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities, and the neurocognitive and behavioral consequences of traumatic brain injury.

I am a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on several NIH-funded studies on children or adults with Down syndrome that examine the relationship between social determinants of health, lifestyle, co-occurring medical conditions, and cognitive development or decline due to Alzheimer's disease. I am particularly interested in understanding the mechanisms that contribute to risk and resilience.
