Description

Level of Activity: Intermediate As we learn more about the biological and psychological effects of COVID-19, there is scant research on the neuropsychological consequences or "long COVID" in children and adolescents. This workshop will review the current literature on COVID-19 in children and adolescents, with a special focus on neuropsychological sequelae. Additionally, this workshop will provide education on current clinical approaches to assessment and interventions when addressing long-COVID in children and adolescents. Objectives: Objective 1 - Broaden knowledge of the foundation of COVID-19 in individuals and how it affects the nervous system. Objective 2 - Learn specific risk factors of long-COVID in children and adolescents. Objective 3 - Apply this knowledge to the everyday practice of pediatric neuropsychology and psychology. Program Price: $60.00 USD for Non-Members, or FREE to Members!
