Level of Activity: Intermediate
The MMPI has evolved over the years and has become one of the most widely-used clinical measure of psychopathology. This workshop will review the process by which the MMPI-3 was developed and normed on a more representative and diverse sample and how the new scales can provide additional insight into an individual's presentation of psychopathology. Specific scales will be reviewed for the practicing neuropsychologist and how to best apply them to young adults.
Objectives:
1. Describe the rationale for and methods used to develop the MMPI-3.
2. Understand the updated norms and content of the MMPI-3
3. Recognize special consideration when using the MMPI-3 with young adults.
